JULY 2004 UPDATES

QUOTE OF THE MONTH:
"Personally, I dig Kirk's no-bullshit, nondiplomatic attitude. If it is something he can't sleep with, or at least kiss in a painful looking way, he locks phasers or throws a right hook or some hyper-testosterone response." - netrekkie

30/July/2004

Added Corellia Drive Technologies BB-80 Fusion Cannon to the Star Wars D/6 Equipment Section, more original artwork by "Bob the Dinosaur".

29/July/2004

Added Galactic Alliance Justice Class "J-Wing" MultiRole Starfighter to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section, more original artwork by "Bob the Dinosaur".

28/July/2004

Added Force Jump to the Star Wars D/6 Force Powers Section.

27/July/2004

Added Force Speed to the Star Wars D/6 Force Powers Section.

Just in case visitors haven't found out elsewhere, but LucasFilm announced the title to Star Wars Episode 3 at the Weekend, Revenge of the Sith. Although some have criticised the title as being derivitive (since the original title of Episode 6 was to be Revenge of the Jedi), but personally I like it since it makes the title of Return of the Jedi even more powerful.

26/July/2004

Added Huppla Pasa Tisc Shipwrights Collective Ginivex-class Starfighter to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section, which is Asajj Ventress' ship out of the Clone Wars Animated series providing completion to yesterdays addition to the site.

25/July/2004

Added Asajj Ventress (Near Human Sith Acolyte) to the Star Wars D/6 Gamesmasters Section, another request from the Clone Wars Animated Series.

22/July/2004

Added Voltaire Manufacturing K-11 Photon Cannon to the Star Wars D/6 Equipment Section, more original artwork by "Bob the Dinosaur".

21/July/2004

Added Stryla Industries Star Moth Space Transport to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section, more original artwork by "Bob the Dinosaur".

18/July/2004

Added Kuat Drive Yards Nebulon-B Heavy Frigate to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section, more original artwork by "Bob the Dinosaur". The small picture on this stats page cannot to the full image justice, so please check out this great picture amongst many others by "Bob the Dinosaur" currently residing in our gallery.

17/July/2004

Added Evakmar Trident Frigate to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section, more original artwork by "Bob the Dinosaur".

By request all Jedi and Sith Weapons and equipment have been seperated from the main equipment list and added under their own subheading on that page, hopefully it will help visitors looking specifically for this kind of item.

16/July/2004

By request I've added Durge (Gen'Dai Bounty Hunter) to the Star Wars D/6 GamesMasters Section, from the Clone Wars Animated Series.

Well another poll is finished with visitors favorite aspect of gaming in the Star Wars RPG being space battles, shortly followed by getting beaten up by Darth Vader, the full results were . . . .

Yet another poll has now opened, this one based on an email I recently recieved complaining about the swearing on the site (especially that in the current quote of the month). Although I've made my own thoughts on swearing on this site clear in the FAQ, the mail made me wonder what the visitors of the site thought, so I decided to ask. So if you'd like to see RPGGamer.org clear of all its obscenity, or if you'd like us to remain exactly as sweary as we are now then vote and let us know the direction we should take.

7/July/2004

Added Phindian Syndicate Titan Class Battleship to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section and CorelliArms Soukia Laser Sniper Rifle to the Star Wars D/6 Equipment Section, more original artwork by "Bob the Dinosaur".

Thanks to the designer of the TIE Reaper and the TIE Vampire designs who has been in touch and I've fixed the accreditation on those pages as well as fixing some mistakes in the TIE Reaper stats, if you're into X-Wing vs TIE Fighter Alliance and like mods to the game then check out his site "The Blue Phantom Project". Well I'm off on my hol's tomorrow, so no updates for about a week. I'm away to Wales with my wife as a kind of proper honeymoon although I'm being cheap and staying in my sisters hotel. I've changed my email so that I can access it through a web interface, so feel free to mail me and I might possibly be able to respond even while I'm away from home :-D.

6/July/2004

Added SoroSuub Luxury 200 Personal Yaght to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section, more original artwork by "Bob the Dinosaur".

4/July/2004

Added Rothana Shipyards "Star Nest" Class Starfighter Carrier to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section, more original artwork by "Bob the Dinosaur".

Whoops, forgot some of the changes needed due to the end of the month (including changing the quote of the month), and also noticed a few mistakes elsewhere in the site, fixed them all, so hopefully everything is okay now.

3/July/2004

Added Koensayr DB-85 Stealth Reconnaissance Starfighter to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section, more original artwork by "Bob the Dinosaur".

Could vistors to the site please check their systems for viruses, in the past day I've received a dozen or more virii to the RPGGamer.org mail account. These are from visitors who are infected, the virus scans the pages you visit and picks up the mail address from the bottom, mailing itself to the page owner, in this case me. This not only annoys the hell out of me (since I am receiving more virii than actual e-mails to the RPGGamer.org account), but also consumes some of your bandwidth and processor power slowing down your internet browsing and makign your system less stable. Even if you cannot afford a virus scanner, then there are various free ones available (AVG springs to mind immediately) as well as free online checkers (for example Trend Housecall).
