The Perpel

The Perpel serves as the flagship of the Wereling Spaceworks corporate
defense starfleet. It was brought into service through a trade deal with
Supreme Warlord Verl of the Tyrr Sector that included several thousand tons
of supplies as well as an entire starfighter wing and picket cruisers. While
Verl believes that he got the best end of the deal, Wereling owner, Hesst
Nal, has clearly used the carrier as an effective raiding platform,
disrupting the commerce of competing corporations.

Nal had all laser cannon emplacements removed and turbolaser batteries
installed to give the ship a fighting chance against even much larger
starships.
