Description: The Concep Rapid Transport was built as a courier ship early in the Imperial era, but ended up being mainly used as a smuggling vessel by the Fringe, and a Blockade Runner by the Rebellion. It was for this reason that the Empire applied pressure to the Loronar Corporation to discontinue production of the vessel, and the company was forced into compliance. The Concep is an extremely fast transport ship, with powerful hyperdrives, and good manueverability and a fair cargo space, making it a good choice for those who want to modify the ship with weapons or other improvements since it starts as such a good base design. However the large size of the ship, combined with the high percentage of it given over to drive systems and its high cost, made it unpopular when compared to more compact designs such as the YT series of vessels. Concep Transports still maintain their high market price even to this day, and although generally considered to be dated and somewhat retro in design, they are still popular enough to be snapped up when they appear for sale.
