Description: The Corellian Frigate is a design which predates the formation of the Empire, but is still sold in reasonable numbers, although it is not as popular as its sister design the Corellian Corvette. Keeping with Corellian designs the Frigate is fast and well armed, however it does not carry as large an armament as other frigates such as the Nebulon B. While the Corellian Frigates sales have never been high, and have been further eroded by the Nebulon series of Frigates, the fact that it is faster, more maneuverable and slightly tougher has gone un-noticed by all purchasers, especially when numbers of Nebulon Frigates for sale dropped to near zero as the Empire and Republic bought up all available ships during the civil war. In combat the Corellian Frigate has difficulty dealing with multiple opponents, but on a one for one basis can stand up to any ship in its class.
