Description: The Techno Union was a common manufacturer of high technology before the Clone Wars, during which it joined with the Trade Federation and Banking Guilds against the Old Republic and was destroyed along with its allies at the end of the Clone Wars. The Skyhawk Airspeeder was a common patrol and assault airspeeder during this time, and shared a number of design features with the Trade Federation vehicles, but was becoming long in the tooth even when the Clone Wars began, so wasn't fielded by the Techno Union in the battles of that war. However the airspeeders had been sold widely and were common throughout the galaxy as aerial interceptors and patrol craft, being phased out as supplies of replacement parts became scarce. The Skyhawk is still seen on backwater planets and with illegal groups who are desperate for any military vehicle they can get their hands on.
