Description: The TYE-Wing is an Ugly hybrid of scrapped Tie/ln Fighters and a Y-Wing Starfighter, combining the cockpit of the standard TIE Fighter, with the engine nacelles of the Y-Wing. This combination provides plenty of energy to the systems aboard the Tie Fighter cockpit, although obviously the engines are slower and less manueverable than the original Tie ones. The Tie engine module has been removed to make space for the Y-Wing hyperdrive system, allowing the fighter to become hyperspace capable, with a small system for storing jumps added into the small cargo space in the TIE cockpit. The standard Tie laser cannons and sensor systems are used, and a small life support system added so the pilot can control the fighter in a shirt sleeves environment. TYE-Wing's are common Ugly fighters, which due to the common availability of damaged Tie and Y-Wing fighters are cheap but dependable fighters which are often found used by criminal and pirate organisations.
