Biography
Attico Wred was a TIE fighter pilot in the Galactic Empire. One day, he was given orders by his superiors to shoot down an unarmed civilian craft. Refusing to kill innocent civilians, Wred saw the Empire's true colors and defected to the Alliance to Restore the Republic. There, he flew as Green Four in Green Squadron, holding the rank of lieutenant. He took up a rivalry with Nozzo Naytaan, another Rebel pilot flying as Red Nine in Red Squadron.
At some point prior to 0 BBY, Wred was scheduled Shift Cycle 3 of an X-wing flight patrol mission along with fellow pilot Lieutenant Wion Dillems (Green Twelve). Their mission was to route from Yavin to Gordian Trace Relays, perform a flyby of surrounding space, then after verifying visual and sensor all clear, perform close uplink of passive relay recordings.
In 0 BBY, he walked through one of the hangars of the Great Temple on Yavin 4 with another pilot, passing Alliance Intelligence agent Cassian Andor and the criminal Jyn Erso as they left the temple to board a UT-60D U-wing starfighter/support craft. Later, Wred participated in the rebel assault on Scarif where his squadron primarily engaged the Imperial starships above the Shield Gate.
