Description: Adelphi was a terrestrial coastal planet in the Adelphi system of the Outer Rim Territories. In the early New Republic Era, Adelphi hosted an outpost of the New Republic where the starfighter squadron Adelphi Rangers, including New Republic pilot Captain Carson Teva, were stationed.
During the High Republic Era, a town with a theater existed on the planet.
In 9 ABY, the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin declined to reveal the identity of his starship, the Razor Crest, to Teva and his wingmate Trapper Wolf, who were searching the Outer Rim for holdouts of the Galactic Empire. Teva requested that Djarin follow them to the outpost at Adelphi. However, after Djarin transmitted the Razor Crest's signal, the pilots determined the vessel had been utilized in a prisoner breakout aboard the New Republic Correctional Transport Bothan-5, and Djarin attempted to escape their pursuit. Sometime later that year, Teva visited a bar in the New Republic base on the planet, where Trapper Wolf, Jib Dodger and Sash Ketter were also present. Teva received a message from Greef Karga, who needed the New Republic's help with defeating pirates. Teva was then approached by Garazeb Orrelios who doubted the New Republic's ability to assist. Around that year, the planet had a population of only 450—all New Republic personnel.
By 15 ABY, a city called Cirimalk existed located on Adelphi and the former Rebel Alliance general Lando Calrissian spent a few days together with his family.
Places of Interest
Cirimalk
Cirimalk was a town on the Outer Rim planet Adelphi that contained a card hall. On one occasion before his daughter Kadara Calrissian was kidnapped in 15 ABY, the former Rebel Alliance general Lando Calrissian spent a few days in Cirimalk with Kadara and the Twi'lek woman Kaasha Bateen. In 21 ABY, when he visited the New Republic staging outpost at Adelphi with Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, Calrissian mentally recalled the time he had visited Cirimalk.
Adelphi Base
The Adelphi Base, also known as the Adelphi Ranger Outpost, was a New Republic outpost on Adelphi, where the New Republic pilot Captain Carson Teva was stationed. The outpost consisted of multiple Quonset huts, one of which was utilized as a lounge bar for New Republic pilots to relax.
After the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin failed to provide the identity of his starship, the Razor Crest, to Teva and his wingmate Trapper Wolf, who were searching for holdouts of the Galactic Empire in the Outer Rim, Teva requested for Djarin to follow the pair to the Adelphi outpost. When Djarin transmitted the Razor Crest's signal, however, the pilots deduced the vessel had been involved in a prisoner breakout aboard the New Republic Correctional Transport Bothan-5, and Djarin attempted to flee from them.
Teva was also at the outpost when he received a message from High Magistrate Greef Karga of Nevarro, requesting his aid in protecting Nevarro City from Pirate King Gorian Shard and his raiders. Teva was in the company of Wolf, their fellow pilots Jib Dodger and Sash Ketter, and Garazeb Orrelios. When Teva stated his intention to forward Karga's plea to Coruscant, Orrelios advised him that the New Republic had a backlog of dispatches and would not reply in time. Teva then departed the base to travel directly to Coruscant himself.
New Republic staging outpost
The New Republic staging outpost, also known as Adelphi station, was a space station outpost operated by the New Republic in orbit of the planet Adelphi, which acted as both a surveillance and a relay station for its sector. It was large enough for the New Republic Defense Fleet to muster strike forces and other large-scale operations.
