Biography
Hugo Durant was an Ardennian fry cook during the New Republic Era, running a food pod named Hugo's on the planet Shakari. One night, Durant was preparing a grilled Flat Meat Fry in his food pod as the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin approached along with his adoptive son, Din Grogu. The Mandalorian placed a single silver triangular New Republic Credit atop the food pod's counter, requesting information. Eager for the valuable credit, the cook put down his food and offered to speak freely. When the Mandalorian added that he was searching for a Hutt, Durant nervously and cheerily announced that he was closing for the night and promptly shuttered his food pod.
