Light Infantry Utility Vehicles also used pintle-mounted megablasters as their primary armament. These forward-mounted FWMB-10s had steadying grips and trigger levers, data and power feeds, calibration adjustment, elevation gear, and collimator sleeves.

Question, for the purpose of fire-linking (because I love tinkering with that), how many shots are in a single burst/attack from this weapon?

Since this is basically an updated version of the E-Web, I figure the same as that (which I can't find listed in the R+E rulebook).

Have I got it wrong, I thought Fire-Linking was slaving two weapons together, and making them fire at the same target for extra damage (like the guns on an X-Wing). Have I been doing that wrong?

Truthfully, I don't know on that. I've seen enough info to support both of us on how we view it. I'd say just go with what you feel comfortable with and keep on keepin' on!

If you're asking that about fire-linking in relation to this gun, I think I remember seeing a break down of it for an e-web somewhere, but cannot remember where this was. The basic idea is, figure out how many shots an E-web fires per attack (I wanna say it's supposed to be 8, but dunno, maybe Wookiepedia or a D20 book would say), then reverse the fire-linking like you would on the X-wing's laser cannons to figure out the damage for single shots. This was done in an explanation somewhere to explain how weapons like an E-web could have semiautomatic fire if desired (though, really, why would you? I could think of creative reasons, but that's just me and most people wouldn't).
