Description: Dantooine (pronounced /'dæntuin/) was a pleasant world of grasslands, rivers and lakes. The planet was located in the Raioballo sector of the Outer Rim at an endpoint of Myto's Arrow, the other endpoint of which was in the Obtrexta sector, though Dantooine itself was still far removed from most galactic traffic. It hosted a small population spread amongst single-family settlements and small communities with large land holdings. Its sentient population consisted primarily of simple Human farmers, though Dantooine was also home to the primitive Dantari race. Native wildlife included the kath hound, the iriaz, the kinrath, and the graul. The planet had no industrial settlements or advanced technology by the time of the Galactic Civil War, save for a temporary Rebel base there.

Dantooine had several continents. There was an equatorial one that was connected to a larger northern one and a south polar one by slender land bridges, as well as a disconnected north-eastern continent.

An olive, blue, and brown colored world, Dantooine was remote from the bustle of the galactic trade routes. Two moons floated in the skies above the savannahs of lavender and yellow grasses.

Separated by forests of spiky blba trees, colonists maintained individual family estates largely isolated from each other.

One of the major continents of Dantooine was identified by its various geographical regions. To the southeast, there were the Rielig Steppes, with the Burad Hills at their southeastern corner. The Northeast section was identified as the Fields of Banir, which held the ruins of an ancient Jedi temple. To the Northwest, there were the Arissi Plains, with the Mosa Rishin region and Taikaha Hills connecting to the southwestern Darjani Plains.

History

Infinite Empire
The planet was one of the subject worlds of the Rakata, of the Infinite Empire. The Rakata built several structures on its surface; at least one of which housed a Star Map and several Rakata-made droids, and was still standing by the time of the Jedi Civil War.

A theory persisted that the native Dantari were descended from a colonization attempt during the earliest days of the Old Republic, but no studies bore this supposition out, and the Dantari were recorded as being present since the beginning of more recent settlements.

Old Sith Wars
During the Old Sith Wars, the Galactic Republic began a full-scale colonization campaign on Dantooine. While the Republic by itself had virtually no military on the planet, the settlers were protected by the Jedi Order.

By at least 3997 BBY, a Jedi training enclave was established by Master Vodo-Siosk Baas, although ruins of an even older Jedi structure could be found on the planet. Many great Jedi of the Great Sith War were trained on Dantooine. However, the Enclave on Dantooine was infamous for the number of its students who eventually fell to the dark side; among them were some of the greatest enemies of the Republic during that unstable period, such as Exar Kun, Revan, and Malak.

Forty years later, in 3956 BBY, the leading instructors at the Dantooine Jedi Enclave were Masters Vrook Lamar, Zhar, Vandar Tokare, and Dorak. When Bastila Shan brought a mentally dead Revan before the Dantooine council, they decided to give Revan another chance to redeem himself. Revan was trained there for a second time.

Just weeks after Revan completed his new training, the Enclave, along with many of Dantooine's other settlements, was destroyed by Darth Malak, who was obsessed with finding Revan and Bastila (Malak also took special care to bombard the ancient Rakatan temple to preserve the Star Forge's secrecy, but by then it was too late). This attack sent the Dantooine farming community into decay, as the Republic, weakened by the war, could not offer its support to the remote world. Until the collapse of the Sith Empire a year later, Dantooine was occupied by the Sith, who executed almost all local leaders.

From 3956 to 3951 BBY, the settlers, led by Administrator Terena Adare, began to rebuild their community by constructing the outpost of Khoonda. By then, Dantooine was populated by mercenaries and salvagers, the latter trying to make a living by finding Jedi relics from the ruined Enclave and selling them.

In 3951 BBY, the Republic nearly lost Dantooine to the Exchange, which planned to use the world as an outpost in the Outer Rim Territories. Exchange mercenaries under the leadership of Azkul, who where supported by Czerka Arms under the leadership of Jana Lorso, made trouble for the settlers, eventually culminating in the Battle of Khoonda. Thanks to the efforts of Master Vrook and Meetra Surik, the meager Khoonda militia prevailed over Azkul's mercenaries and subsequently exiled the Exchange and Czerka Arms from the planet, and Dantooine remained in the Republic. The Republic eventually sent some of its forces to protect the battered planet.

After the battle, the Enclave was rebuilt and briefly became the residence of the reformed Jedi Council (Master Vrook, Master Kavar, and Master Zez-Kai Ell), but it was abandoned shortly after, when the Council members were killed by Darth Traya.

Around 3630 BBY, Dantooine was raided by the Nova Blades, a pirate group in the employ of the Sith Empire which felt threatened by the planet's proximity to its territory. The Empire used the Nova Blades as a distraction to infiltrate a small elite force in the surface and dispute the ground with Republic forces.

Clone Wars
During the Clone Wars, Mace Windu won a widely publicized victory at the Battle of Dantooine. Although he was without his lightsaber for much of the battle, Windu and a large clone trooper force defeated an army of B2 super battle droids and a massive seismic tank.

Galactic Empire
At some time after the creation of the Empire, the Force-sensitive clone trooper X2 aided the escaped Jedi Knight Falon Grey in his battle against Imperial stormtroopers. While Grey fought with armed villagers, X2 moved around the Jedi enclave. The two met in a mountain hangar, but X2's older brother X1 arrived with his troops. Falon Grey defeated X1 in combat, but while at the lightsaber's edge, X1 killed the Jedi and incapacitated X2. X2 then lived on the planet for many years.

Galactic Civil War
Years later, after the Corellian Treaty was signed, the Alliance to Restore the Republic established Dantooine as their headquarters, establishing a prefabricated base near the ruins of the old Jedi Enclave. Also it was used for a staging post for starfighter strikesâ€â€most famously, the Battle of Danuta, for the recovery of the Death Star plans.

In 2 BBY, the special operative Jan Ors directed the seventeen-year-old Tarrin Datch to pilot her freighter carrying a cargo of stolen Imperial fuel slugs to the sanctuary of the Dantooine base, the first command center of the Rebel Alliance. Once arriving there, Datch began training as a starfighter pilot and officially joined the Rebellion. In 1 BBY, Darth Vader was captured by the Rebel Alliance on Kamino and was taken hostage on Dantooine's Rebel base, unaware that Fett was pursuing the Rebels and their valuable hostage in his ship. Not long after, the Dantooine base was deserted after Ryle Torsyn discovered an Imperial homing beacon there, possibly placed by Boba Fett.

After the Alliance's relocation to Yavin 4, Princess Leia Organa tried to fool Grand Moff Tarkin into believing that the main Rebel base was still located on Dantooine, attempting to spare her homeworld of Alderaan from the destructive power of the Empire's newest weapon. Tarkin replied that Dantooine was too remote to use as an effective demonstration of the Death Star (the deciding factor here seemed to be a political and social impact rather than military necessity). Alderaan was destroyed and subsequently, Imperials did indeed discover the abandoned Rebel base. As Tarkin realized that Leia would lie to him even under the most dire circumstances, he ordered her execution.

The Empire took over the vacated Alliance base and discovered the Jedi cloning facility in the ruins, and resumed carrying out the research to develop rapid cloning procedures. They also established an Imperial outpost and a mining outpost.

Ex-Imperial Officer Tycho Celchu also defected to the Rebel Alliance on this world. However, he was captured by the Imperial Storm Commando Corps. Before he was captured, he managed to send a panic-burst transmission to the orbiting members of Rogue Squadron who immediately began a rescue operation. Luke Skywalker piloted a captured Imperial speeder bike to the landing zone, where he used several E-Web repeating blasters to stop an Imperial APC which Tycho had been stored upon. After disabling the APC, Skywalker and Celchu used another two speeder bikes to escape from several waves of Probe droids, APCs, enemy speeders and TIE/sa starfighters. However, upon arriving at the rendezvous point with Sarkli, the Imperial forces had destroyed much of the Rebel task force, including several BTL Y-wing starfighters, leaving four T-65 X-wing starfighters, which the survivors used to escape. Upon reaching orbit, Celchu hemorrhaged information about trapped scientists on the planet Ralltiir.

At some point during the Galactic Civil War, a bounty hunter and kid faced off against a pirate in orbit. The kid tackled the pirate out of the airlock, forcing the bounty hunter to rescue him using an ablative heatshield and a parachute.

After the Battle of Endor, Dantooine was represented by an Imperial faction, called the Pentastar Alignment, but it eventually came under New Republic control, the elite unit known as Lando's Commandos made use of a cloaked stealth fighter housed in a "museum" on the planetâ€â€though given the lack of public infrastructure on the planet, and the secret nature of cloaking technology, this may have been a euphemistic description for a military storehouse.

In the turbulent years following the reborn clone Emperor Palpatine's resurrection, the New Republic relocated several refugees from Eol Sha to Dantooine. The colonist refugees did not have a chance to meet the native Dantari, since Admiral Daala dispatched an Imperial force that massacred all the refugees.

Places:

Garang
Garang was a city located on the world of Dantooine some time during the days of the Old Republic. As the capital city and trading hub on Dantooine, Garang also boasted a spaceport to handle the planet's exportation of foodstuffs. As of the Jedi Civil War, it played host to at least one sub-orbital transport corporation and was, according to rumor, the base of operations of a local unnamed Hutt. It was razed during Darth Malak's attack on the world and its Jedi Enclave.

Khoonda
Khoonda was the autonomous government of the planet Dantooine from 3956 BBY to at least 3951 BBY.

When Darth Malak destroyed the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine in 3956 BBY, the settler community of this relatively recently colonized planet found itself deprived of any support. The Galactic Republic was on the verge of collapse during that period and could not offer anything to some backwater planet in the Outer Rim Territories, having lost any interest in it without the Jedi.

Forgotten by everyone, the settlers had to establish a government able to regulate themselves. The leading official of this new government, Administrator Terena Adare, who was the Agricultural Administrator during the Jedi period, chose the former estate of the Matale family as her residence; the estate was rebuilt from damage inflicted by the Sith bombardment and renamed Khoonda.

While being a symbol of a new beginning for the settlers, Khoonda was not a very effective government. Khoonda had to deal with monetary problems. Dantooine was not entirely self-sufficient; agricultural exports covered only basic maintenance, and the settlers needed more credits to expand and rebuild. Because of this, Adare and her people had to tolerate salvagers and use whatever income they brought from plundering the ruined Enclave.

the lack of military power and law enforcement. The militia of Khoonda consisted mostly of farmers and merchants, and only a few militiamen, among them their commander Zherron, had some military training and experience. They had difficulties protecting the settlers from wild kinraths and kath hounds, and were certainly no match for Exchange mercenaries, who were active on Dantooine after the Jedi Civil War. Most mercenaries were former soldiers and veterans of the Jedi Civil War - their leader Azkul, for instance, was a Sith trooper during the war. While the mercenaries did not engage in open warfare at that time, it was no doubt that their goal on Dantooine was not peaceful collaboration with the natives. The settlers tended to blame Adare and Zherron for their passivity, but realized that without them the mercenaries would already control the planet.

However, with the appearance of Meetra Surik in 3951 BBY, the settlers' life became somewhat easier. Surik did everything she could to help Khoonda and redeem for the extremely bad reputation the Jedi had on Dantooine. While it was Surik who, rushing to free Master Vrook Lamar from the mercenaries, provoked a bloody assault on Khoonda that became known as the Battle of Khoonda, the settlers were ignorant of this fact. Surik was remembered as a savior who turned the tides to the settlers' side and fought for Khoonda, ensuring its victory and removing the mercenary threat once and for all.

Khoonda itself was in a state of disrepair before the battle. The problems plaguing Khoonda included malfunctioning turrets, broken droids, injured soldiers, security breaches and a lack of recruits willing to fight for the militia. Surik managed to fix these problems before the assault.

No longer needing to face a hostile military power, the people of Dantooine could at least return to day-to-day affairs. By that time, the salvagers had taken everything of value from the Jedi Enclave, and only the dangerous sublevel, overrun by laigreks, remained relatively untouched. As the settlers' attitude towards the Jedi turned from hatred to admiration, they decided to honor them for all the help they once offered. When Surik arrived on Dantooine once again to meet the three Jedi Masters Vrook, Kavar and Zez-Kai Ellâ€â€she found, instead of ruins, an intact Enclave rebuilt almost to its former glory.

Eol Sha Colony
The Eol Sha Colony was a colony created by the New Republic on Dantooine in order to relocate the survivors from the planet Eol Sha. It was destroyed in 11 ABY by Admiral Daala's fleet.

Jedi Enclave
The Jedi Enclave was a secret academy administered by the Jedi Order located on the planet Dantooine. As on Coruscant, Force-sensitive children were trained in the ways of the Force; however, the selection process was more rigorous and only the candidates with the highest potential were admitted. Overseen by a satellite of the Jedi High Council, the Enclave trained many influential Jedi during its centuries of operation, only closing during the Jedi Civil War when the attack on Dantooine by the forces of Darth Malak destroyed the structure.

Khoonda plains
The Khoonda plains were the area on the planet Dantooine that were the location of the Matale estateâ€â€which later was rebuilt and came to be known as Khoonda, the seat of the Dantooine government after the Jedi Civil War. The plains were near the Jedi Enclave, and were the access point of the crystal cave. During the First Jedi Purge, the plains were the site of the Battle of Khoonda. The area was inhabited by kinrath, kath hounds and Humans from the nearby Khoonda settlement.

Warren (installation)
The Warren, also known simply as the Imperial Research Facility, was a top-secret Imperial military research facility on Dantooine during the Galactic Civil War.

During the years surrounding 0 ABY, the Warren was commanded by Colonel Bors Teraud. According to rumor, under Teraud's command, a rogue scientist experimented in genetics, cybernetics and brain translation to create an army of cyborgs loyal to Teraud with the plan of overthrowing Emperor Palpatine. The same rumors claim that the project failed when Teraud's scientist turned the cyborgs against the officer. When word of Teraud's fate reached the ears of his superiors, a spacer was hired to enter the Warren, gather evidence of the experiment and return it to his employers.

Rakatan ruins
The Rakatan ruins were all that remained of an ancient structure built on Dantooine by the Rakata during the height of their Infinite Empire. The temple itself was built as a monument to the power of the Star Forge, a space station in the Lehon system which could be located using the information stored in a Star Map that was housed inside the temple.

After the fall of the Infinite Empire, the building was abandoned and forgotten for thousands of years. Before the outbreak of the Jedi Civil War, Jedi Knights Revan and Malak learned of the existence of the Star Forge after encountering the Sith Emperor in the Unknown Regions on Dromund Kaas and set out to find the Rakatan superweapon on behalf of him and the coming war. They discovered the ruins and accessed the star map located inside. Although the data had been corrupted, the two were able to retrieve the coordinates of other planets that were once ruled by the Rakata. By investigating each world, they hoped to find more relics of the Infinite Empire that would provide clues to the Star Forge's location. Eventually, they succeeded.

Revan and Malak's fall to the dark side of the Force was completed when they became the pawns of the Sith Emperor of the resurgent Sith Empire, who sent the pair on a search for the Star Forge. However, while searching for the Rakatan factory, the two new Dark Lords broke free of the Emperor's mental control, believing his instructions to be their own desires. They would make use of the Star Forge to create fleets of warships with which they would attempt to conquer the Galactic Republic. During the subsequent Jedi Civil War, Darth Revan was captured by a Jedi strike team led by Bastila Shan. His mind was badly damaged during the event and the Jedi Council used the Force to erase all memories of who he was and replaced them with an identity loyal to the Republic.

Following his rescue of Bastila Shan on Taris, Revan was given once again Jedi training, and progressed to the rank of Padawan at the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine. Meanwhile, the Jedi Council had appointed the task of investigating the ruins to Jedi Master Nemo, whose failure was later assessed by Revan and Bastila. Once again inside the ruins, Revan found Nemo's body, and an ancient droid Overseer who guarded entrance to the Star Map. After cycling through several alien dialects in an attempt to communicate, Revan recognized what seemed to be an archaic dialect of the Selkath spoken on Manaan. The Overseer told Revan that he had to be tested in the proving grounds, in order to prove himself worthy of accessing knowledge of the Star Forge, yet, the Overseer did not provide much information on the topic related to the Builders. It was apparent that the Jedi Nemo had failed the assigned tasks and was killed as a result by the ancient defense system of the temple.

Revan proved himself worthy and activated the Star Map, thus beginning a journey to retrace his own steps towards the Star Forge and there confront his apprentice Darth Malak. An amateur archaeologist by the name of Casus Sandral also made an effort to discover the source of the ancient ruins, and found some correlation between them and something called the "Rak".

Near the close of the Jedi Civil War, a Sith battle group under the command of Malak attacked the nearby Jedi Enclave and destroyed it. During the fighting, the Rakatan Ruins were also bombarded and obliterated, likely in an attempt to prevent others from discovering the Star Forge's location. After the bombardment, a group of mercenaries, led by Azkul, installed a camp near the ruins, though no one possessed knowledge of their significance.

Imperial Outpost
The Imperial Outpost on Dantooine was a military outpost established by the Galactic Empire shortly after the Battle of Yavin, when a permanent garrison was established on the planet.

During 1 ABY, the outpost was commanded by Commander Jatrian Lytus. Among the other Imperial personnel stationed at this outpost were Colonel Bek Rabor, Lieutenant Juntah Herm, Stormtrooper LX-466, scout troopers SG-567 and SG-619, Black Epsilon pilot trainer Insurgent and the researcher Xaan Talmaron.

The outpost featured a landing pad for interstellar shuttles, a small medical facility with a 2-1B surgical droid and a cantina. Its perimeter was guarded by patrolling stormtroopers and AT-STs.

Mining Outpost
A Mining Outpost was a settlement on Dantooine. It was established by the Galactic Empire, when they began occupation of the planet.

Agro Outpost
The Agro Outpost, also known as the Pirate Outpost, was a small settlement on Dantooine.

Matale estate
The Matale estate was the residence of the Matale family on Dantooine. Its owner was Ahlan Matale, who lived with his son, Shen.

Near the close of the Jedi Civil War at 3956 BBY, a battle group under the command of Darth Malak assaulted the area around the Jedi Enclave as well as the nearby Rakatan ruins. The Matale estate was damaged in the attack, and the fate of its inhabitants are unknown.

As time passed, the estate was eventually reclaimed by the planet's loose government faction, the Khoonda, and repaired. The structure itself was renamed Khoonda as well and became the center of government.

In 3951 BBY, the Jedi Exile was known to have assisted in the defense of Khoonda by repelling Azkul and his mercenary force attempting to seize control of the government for the Exchange. This conflict was eventually known as the Battle of Khoonda.

Sandral estate
The Sandral estate was the residence of the Sandral family on Dantooine. Not far from the Jedi Enclave, the estate was visited by the amnesiac Jedi Revan and his companions during the Jedi Civil War. Its owner was Nurik Sandral, who lived with daughter Rahasia and son Casus.

A Lethisk-class armed freighter that was owned by the Sandrals sat on the roof of the structure.

Nurik was involved in a feud with a neighboring family, the Matales - Ahlan Matale in particular. Nurik was distraught over the loss of his son Casus, whom he believed had been killed by the rival family patriarch Ahlan Matale. In retaliation, Nurik kidnapped Ahlan's son and Rahasia's secret lover, Shen Matale, holding him in the estate as a prisoner until the intervention of Revan.

Revan was able to convince the young lovers to confront their respective fathers about the long-lasting disagreement. When the two revealed their love to each other and their parents, a brief argument broke out, which Revan and his companions mediated with positive results. Shen Matale and Rahasia Sandral convinced their parental units to purchase a house for them and allow them to marry. The fathers accepted their children's pleas to allow them to wed; however, while the feud would cease between their common ground, the two parents would continue to fight.

The estate, along with most of the pathways leading to it, was presumed to be destroyed during the Sith attack on the Enclave; however, the estate could have avoided destruction depending on how widespread Darth Malak's attack was.

Crystal Cave
The Crystal Cave was located on the southeast end of the Khoonda plains in the Sandral fields on the world of Dantooine. The Jedi Order, which discovered the caves circa 4016 BBY when Jedi Master Vodo-Siosk Baas established the Jedi Enclave there, was given sole access to the world's wealth of precious crystals which were vital to the construction of the Order's lightsabers.

The Crystal Cave on the planet of Dantooine had been burrowed by its non-sentient inhabitants, the kinrath, a species of poisonous arachnoids. The original entrance to the cave was located at the East end of a territory called "the Sandral Grounds," which was named after the family of Human colonists that had established their estate in the area. At some point after 3956 BBY, the entrance was sealed, but the kinrath slowly dug a new tunnel that led to the Khoonda plains, an area that had once hosted the compound of the Matale family. In its first incarnation, the Crystal Cave consisted of a large tunnel ending on a single chamber. Following the carving of a new, bigger cave by the kinrath, it contained two chambers and more complex network of tunnels.

Among the naturally occurring crystal structures were the rare Adegan crystals, once believed to only grow on Adega, which produced blue, green and yellow variations. A mystery for the Jedi, red crystals would sometimes form in unhatched kinrath eggs; rubat and bondar crystals were also occasionally seen with the cave system. In the fourth millennium before the Galactic Civil War, at least one Ultima-Pearl, while those gems were normally found on the oceanic floor of the planet Dac.

Discovered by the early Jedi that accompanied Jedi Master Vodo-Siosk Baas to Dantooine, these members of the Jedi Order established the Jedi Enclave near to the mouth of the cave in order to guard and protect its precious treasure trove of crystals which were vital to the construction of the Jedi lightsaber. As the academy grew, Jedi pilgrimages became more frequent and traversing the caves became a rite of passage similar to that experienced on the Jedi fortress world Ilum. The cave, burrowed by the dangerous kinrath native to the world, used the tunnel system leading into the cave as a nesting site and would attack any who they perceived as a threat to the nest.

During the Jedi Civil War, a conflict between the Republic and the Sith Empire of Darth Revan and Darth Malak, the number of students at the Enclave dwindled and the Caves became greatly infested with kinrath as the Jedi were no longer able to cull their numbers. Following Revan's retraining as a Padawan and forced amnesia, he entered the cave and collected numerous crystals to enhance his lightsaber during his quest to find the mysterious and deadly Star Forge. During the Dark Wars that followed the death of Malak and the destruction of the Star Forge, the Jedi Enclave was devastated and closed. When the city of Khoonda was formed, the Dantooine militia sealed the kinrath caves, closing off access to the precious crystals. Despite this, the kinrath quickly made a new tunnel to the surface that was even closer to the city and attacks by the vicious creatures increased.

During this dark period for the Jedi Order, the exiled Jedi Meetra Surik entered the cave complex in 3951 BBY and killed the kinrath matriarch in order to pacify the local kinrath population. While exploring the tunnels, she and her companions stumbled across the Crystal Cave, and with the help of Jedi Master Kreia, she was able to detect the imprint that Revan had left upon the chamber. While she was there, Surik collected several lightsaber crystals, including a unique personal crystal which would prove quite useful during her campaign against the Sith Triumvirate.

Over three hundred years following Revan's visit a group of Jedi, including Satele Shan, Fortris Gall and Master Dar'Nala entered the cave to meet with representatives of the resurgent Sith Empire in the weeks following the shocking Treaty of Coruscant. When Darth Baras and Darth Angral arrived to negotiate, Jedi Shan attacked and refused to negotiate with Sith. During the skirmish, Shan realized that Master Dar'Nala had succumbed to the dark side of the Force in her attempts to destroy the Sith. Before Shan could intercede and help her former master, the Togruta was killed by the Wookiee mercenary Dalborra. Fleeing the caves, the Cold War between the Sith and the Galactic Republic would continue on for years after.

By the time of the Clone Wars some two millennia after the Cold War, the Order had reestablished some ties with Dantooine, and saw some visits to the Dantooine Caves. Padawan Jax Pavan was one Jedi apprentice who traveled from the Coruscant Jedi Temple during the conflict to obtain a rare Dantooinian crystal for use in his lightsaber.

Dantooine base
This Rebel base was the first base used by the Alliance to Restore the Republic after the signing of the Corellian Treaty in 2 BBY and was located on the planet Dantooine. It was prefabricated and located near the Jedi Enclave, where it was intended only to be a temporary base for the Alliance. In 1 BBY, the Alliance planned to hold Darth Vader hostage here, after he had been captured on Kamino, unaware that Boba Fett was pursuing the Rebels and their valuable hostage in his ship. Before long, the Alliance abandoned it when an Imperial listening device was discovered in the cargo of a vessel docking there, possibly placed by Fett. Leia Organa revealed its existence to the Empire when she was captured, but a survey team soon found it and confirmed that it had been abandoned and was not the current Rebel base as she had claimed.

Leia, Mon Mothma, and Ackbar, would all secretly visit it again in 1 ABY, where they employed an unknown spacer to fulfill a number of tasks.

In 11 ABY, it was completely destroyed in an orbital bombardment ordered by Imperial Admiral Natasi Daala.

Mosa Rishin
Mosa Rishin was a region on the planet of Dantooine.

Taikaha Hills
The Taikaha Hills were a hilly region on the planet of Dantooine.

Tokare Garrison
Tokare Garrison was a Galactic Republic military base on Dantooine. Named in honor of the Jedi Master Vandar Tokare, who served on the Dantooine Jedi Enclave Council, the base served as a resupply point for Republic starships operating in the territory of the reconstituted Sith Empire during the Republic's third war with them.

The base was used by Republic forces as center of operations against the Imperial soldiers and Nova Blades during the Dantooine Incursion.

Imperial Outpost DNT-X004
The Imperial Outpost DNT-X004 was an Imperial recon base on the planet Dantooine during the Dantooine Incursion.

Imperial Outpost DNT-X004 was an outpost of the reconstituted Sith Empire on Dantooine. It was hidden in a cave strategically located near the Banir Regional Energy Complex. The location proved to be a perfect launchpad for strikes on Republic infrastructure. The Imperials and Sith operated with a minimum of staff and materiel.
