Description: Blaster muskets were a type of blaster pistol that was used by the Shistavanen pirate Brutus during the New Republic Era. Around 9 ABY, Captain Brutus was captured while welding a blaster musket by the Onyx Cinder's Cargo-lifting arm while approached its landing ramp after it was tractored into the hanger of his frigate. After being grabbed by the lift arm he fired a single blast before dropping the blaster. The former pirate captain Silvo picked up Brutus' blaster musket after approaching the restrained Brutus. Avenging his previous mutiny, Silvo killed Brutus with a single shot from the blaster musket and retook his pirate crew.
