Special Abilities:
Acidic Bile: The Leviathan Krayt Dragon can spray a blast of it's acidic bile, which can dissolve targets. Acid Damage 5D (converts to match scale of opponent up to starfighter scale: Character scale opponents receive no armor bonus unless suit is sealed)
Armor: The Leviathan krayt dragon's thick hide provides it with a +2D bonus to Strength rolls made to resist damage.
Bite: A bite from a Leviathan krayt dragon inflicts Strength+2D+1 (Starfighter -scale) damage.
Camouflage: When hiding in the deep sands of Tatooine, the greater krayt dragon receives a +6D bonus to Hide skill rolls.
Swallow Whole: A Leviathan krayt dragon can Swallow an ordinary sized opponent whole. If it makes a successful Melee attack, it can then make an opposed Strength Test to Swallow the target entirely. The target receives 3D Acid damage each round they are in the creatures stomach, but if they successfully wound the Leviathan krayt dragon, it irritates the creatures stomach enough that they are ejected immediately.
Tail Attack: When using its tail as a weapon, the Leviathan krayt dragon inflicts Strength+1D (Starfighter-scale) damage on a successful attack.
Starfighter Scale: Due to it's massive size the Leviathan krayt dragon is considered Starfighter scale, making it easier to hit, but more resistant to damage.
Fearsome: The immense size and danger of the Leviathan Krayt Dragon means most opponents fear it and refuse to fight it, when a Leviathan Krayt Dragon roars, all opponents must roll Willpower (Difficult) or flee the creature.
Description: The leviathan krayt dragon was a subspecies of krayt dragon was characterized by its sixteen limbs and its ability to spit a highly corrosive ichor onto attackers. Din Djarin and Cobb Vanth once helped a group of Tusken Raiders defeat one such beast.
Biology and appearance
One of several species that belonged to the overarching krayt dragon designation, the leviathan krayt dragon was a creature that had sixteen limbs ending in five clawed digits, a spiny tail, and a large head protected by bony armor. When threatened, it could also project a harmful ichor directly from its mouth, causing the organic tissues of the target to dissolve. Like other krayt dragons, it could develop pearls inside its gizzard, which were highly sought after by jewelers, artisans, and wealthy collectors.
Behavior
Like its cousin, the greater krayt dragon, that species submerged themselves in the shifting sand dunes and emerged to consume their prey. The dragon would also hibernate longer given sufficient sustenance to do so, and could allegedly sense the vibrations of a starship flying nearby.
History
In 3 ABY, a krayt dragon pearl was stolen from Tusken Raiders by bandits. Criminal Kay Vess recovered the pearl for the Tuskens in exchange for Sullustan Hoss, who was held hostage by the Tuskens. During her search for a tooth coming from a sarlacc's second mouth, Vess encountered a krayt dragon.
A krayt dragon had eaten a sarlacc and taken up residence in its abandoned pit. Said dragon became a nuisance to a tribe of Tusken Raiders and the citizens of Mos Pelgo living nearby, often eating their livestock or damaging their equipment, and overall bearing a risk to their safety. This specimen was later killed by said Tusken Raiders and citizens, with the aid of Din Djarin and Cobb Vanth, though it had, in turn, sprayed and killed many of its assailants with its acid. The tribe of Tusken Raiders took much of its meat and its pearl. The ribs were incorporated into the structure of the Mos Pelgo saloon, and a group of Jawas adorned their sandcrawler with the dragon's skull.
